I couldn't drive up here in Winnipeg that low. I'd be high centered down the middle because of the lane ruts. They're so bad if you let go of your wheel your car will jump a couple feet to the left or right.

Ventura Motorsports — 18" STR Racing 601 Gun Metal Wheels

I wanna do these in 18x8.5 +30 offset with a 225/40 tire. Any thoughts on fitments?

I am assuming that you have brembos, and I'm doubting these will clear without spacers. I have no idea. with that offset and needing a spacer, anything more than a 5mm will poke a lot.

Another issue i can see is that if it does poke and you have to stretch you will need a very narrow tire to stretch on a 8.5. just my .02 though.

I got ya, but I was hoping a +30 offset would be enough on that wheel because they also have 18x9.5 +35 too...

rotiform, ccw, vip modular, fifteen52, work, bbs (the FI would be so ****), just go on stanceworks.com in the classifieds section for your best real wheel deals (Y)

Anyone active in this thread running BC coilovers? I'm ordering a set this week for my HHR and I'm wondering how low I'll be able to go.

On second thought, these may slightly clear brembos. Look at this for sale thread

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/part...wheels-298173/

"I have the same wheels 18x8.5 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear +35 off set and brembo's with a 5mm spacer up front and haven’t had any problems..."

Since these are 30 offset, if the wheels are similar it may squeeze in without a spacer.

What springs are you on Aaron? I am on yyz v3, I think they may fit but may look a little silly with the gap in the rear
