^^yeah no kidding but ill add to it..... the new z06 is going to be a monster.... anyone that thinks vettes are only fast in a straight line should get their facts straight. theres a reason the vette is one of the most used road race cars out there. one of the vettes we recently tuned wont scca t2 class this year along with vettes coming in 2 and 3 leaving behind a mustang and porsche 911

Comparing a base c6 to a full load bmw? Please. the m3 cost a bit more as well.

You can shoot the **** all you want, for 100k a zr1 trumps everything higher in price range right beside the gtr. porsches, gaylardos, etc. all get raped on lap times.

Can't deny the track times fanbois. This is 2014 not 1980

Unless you're tracking your cars, there's no point for all that power. Be it an LFA, track-ready GTR, or a z06. When you put your foot down to overtake the guy in the slow lane, you'll have more than enough kick whether you're in a maclaren or ''just'' a boxter. The thing is that when you're comparing supercar to supercar, there's more to it than power. Sitting in an m3, a c63 amg, an xk-r, or even a ''base'' GTR has a level of class that only comes with these crazy expensive (to the average demographic) cars. If I was spending nearly 100 grand on just a car, it better make me feel like I'm in an 80,000$ car. IN MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, nearly every american car has the same generic plastic tacky interior as the entry level car..whether it be the new mustang, corvette, or anything.

I stand by my opinion; a sunfire with a v8.

255/40 on a 17x9 +30 front, +45 rear

Same as last year besides the coilovers. They're for looks mainly, so I'm expecting them to throw off the autocross situation. I really like the rs3s though. They held up great last season besides the outer edge of the fronts which has been worn smooth.

They aren't slicks, but I might try them in a year or two. I'm still having fun beating WRXs, Miatas, Mustangs, etc. that are running r-comps.

What coilovers did you get, it's a shame you dumped the YYZ's although at least you expect them to be a downgrade it'll be interesting to see how they compare.

Yep. There's probably 1/4'' clearance with the XXX bar, but everything else is fine. I might start rubbing the fender liner now that I'm significantly lower than the YYZs though. That remains to be seen.

Says the guy who owns a Mazda that was 33% control shared by ford until 2008 lol. I take it you have never owned anything with over 600hp, drive something with that kind power then say its pointless your opinion might be changed even on the street.

Yeah i like my powell setup but i keep tossing the idea around of putting coilovers back on. i miss my ride height. I also keep toying around the idea of a mini build but im not sure if i want to dump the money into this car again. Nothing crazy hp wise but yeah.

Certain wheels will clear witha 45 in the rear... the fact hes on 17s helps. its like with a 9.5 up front i know some wont clear with a 40mm offset unless on coilovers.
