The hood looks closed along the fenders but has a large gap between the grille and front of the hood. Is that right or is the hood open? I ask cause I am seeing some alignment issues with mine like this as well. Seems to be the bumper Styrofoam is squicshed form someone sitting on the bumper or something.

Anyone rocking 255/40/17s on 17x9 +42 on a cobalt? something on a local CL caught my eye and seriously contemplating a hub conversion.

There is a bigger gap between the grill and hood than I remember with mine. Maybe the color is deceiving

That's what I was thinking to myself too. Even the headlights show something is out of whack. Look at the top of the headlights. There is smaller/marginal gaps on both sides too.

They look like gen 4 projectors, so I ignored them as none of the aftermarket headlights fit like oem

I dont see what you guys are seeing but headlights line up perfectly, Cars been taken apart twice for painting. Ive had 4 cobalts and this is the first that has no issues with headlights, bumpers, etc giving problems.

I see what your saying, it should be the knobs on the ends that you twist to raise/lower the hood. Not that big of a deal since the headlights are perfect and thats always been my pet peeve.
These are even gapped a little

Yeah sorry I mentioned it it just looks like the gap is exaggerated. This is my current pet peeve with my car. Mine isnt bad but I am glad to see it may just be one of those "cobalt things" that I have to live with.

here is how my stance is in the rear, and the springs that are holding me back. I have 3 static coils that ease the car down after they unload and they ride great but there is just a bit too much still in the rear. These are CM springs.

how do you like the d2 coilovers? how is the ride on them at that height? I have really bad roads here this is my biggest concern with such a big amount of money spent on one thing. Suspensions.

anyone have cxracing coilovers $750 or megan racing ez street series $700?

also does anyone have pics of the rear suspension in its lowest position how much down movement do you have, the less the worse the ride is between the lowest setting and the bumpstops bottoming out?
