Or you can do it the easy way and keep everything connected...

1) break the orange collar lose thats right above the part attached to the knuckle.
2) spin it the orange collar up to the distance you want it lowered
3) take the spanner wrenches and twist the whole coilover assembly down untill the orange collar is against the knuckle again.
4)Tighten orange collar to the part attached to the knuckle.

Repeat for the other side.

Theoretically one could just get 1/2" or so cut out of the axles and rewelded to solve that right?
