Definitely Rota Grids, I won't remember the exact set up or offset, but it was on adapters (22-25mm?) and they were a 17x9 with a 215/40 tire, i think. Probably not 100% correct, but I imagine that is close to the set up.

18x8.5 +30 STR 601s. I figured if it doesn't get me the fitment I want I'll pick up 9.5s with tax return and sell the 8.5s. I think I'll be able to keep it low and get a nice stance with the 8.5s.

Looks like I'm keeping her since no one wants to buy anything so I might as well finish her. Here's a pic of her before she's in pieces lol. Sorry for the shitty iPhone pic.

New wheels will be here on Monday...gonna be a long weekend!

Question...there's a lot of noise coming from the rear of my HHR...creaking and squeaking. I get under the car once a week and pull the rear coils out and WD everything. Seems like it's a little quieter for a few days then back to the sounds. This is the first car I've ever had coils on...is this the norm or could I have something going on? I've got Ksports with all locking rings removed.

I'm getting used to mine too...you can't really hear it outside the car...the hatch area kinda amplifies it through the car. I'll try some of that lithium grease and see if it works any better. Appreciate the help...

Welp look what just popped up near me, these would look so much cooler than my 18x8 et40 enkei m52s lol.. but how to make them fit? I think id get crazy poke even if I run a 20mm adapter. But im not 100% certain of this. Anyone run staggered wheels on their balt?

The 18x9.5 with the 38mm with a 20 adapter brings it to a 18mm. that would be real aggressive for the rear. it would poke a lot. The 8.5 wouldn't be all that bad though. you would probably have to run a 215/40 on that and probably still hit the fender

those would fit just fine, well the fronts yea haha

i see youll do adapters which will require some fender rolling and some slight pull.

if u did a redrilled hubs the fronts would be fine. the rears would probably touch on the inside with that offset

+18 final offset all around is plenty good clearance on the inside, it will poke for sure

a gang of guys have ran staggered

So it sounds like redrilled is the way to go.. id like to run a 235 or 245/40 tire as im planning on putting go fast parts on as well. With a redrill I should be okay maybe with a slight roll/pull or a few degrees of camber in the rear? (Nothing stupid). Heres the catch though, im on sportlines.. no coils, yet.
I think theyll clear the brembos but if not I could do a 5mm spacer up front and it should make them fit pretty good.
Whats a redrill usually run?

u can get redrilled hubs for 320 shipped from jeff on here

the white car is on 17x9

im running 9.5 all around +30 with 5mm spacers on the front. rolled and slight pull on the good ole fenders

its really close on the rear. thats why the +38 on those wheels is probably touching on the inside

So I would probably need to redrill the hubs and run spacers since the smallest adapter I'd want to run is 20mm and that would be way too much poke correct?
