CSS Helps me pick new wheels/offset

I am picking up new wheels and its down to three selections. The size is going to be 18"x8" wide, offset is undecided. Car is a black SS/SC 06 with high rise. Choices are as follows:

A.) MSR 045
These are the least expensive but would need powder coating to gun metal grey or bronze

B.) 2 Crave Mach 7's (matte black)
These have a nice concavity to them

C. Enkei ekM3 (gun metal)
Have always liked these wheels

I also do now know what offset to go with on the 18x8 size. +38mm? The car is on SSC's. I want a more flush look but have no way to roll fenders currently. Also, my tire size is 225/40/18 so I am hoping there will sit fine on the 8" wheel. They are pretty much brand new Ventus V12's.

Opinions please.

I'm digging B. But I'm not a fan of a lot of spokes. B definitely looks the cleanest to me.

They make a "Mach 5" which is the same exact wheel design but with 5 spokes instead of 7. I like it but im more partial to the 7's because the car comes stock with 5 spoke wheels.

I like B also. And I think you'll be alright with a 225 on an 8"

I would go with option c. Black exterior and gunmetal wheels would look great.

Good luck finding anywhere to get a set of 45's. Honestly I hope you can find them, but everywhere I talked to the company American Eagle Alloy has discontinued the wheel. You can still get the black with polished lip possibly but it is going to be atleast a two month back order. Probably more like four months and that was direct wording from the manufactuer. So I would have to say go EKM3. Clean rim and a nice design.

If you go with the the 2craves, they are only available in a 18x8 +42 offset. They really won't even be concaved. More flat than anything.

You right. I searched and found the thread here where I first heard about them. Apparently the +35mm the OP had was a custom drilled set. If I can't get them in a +35mm then I don't want them.

I started looking more and wheel choices suck. I hate the multi drilled wheels so the XXR 522 is out. Looking more and more like Enkei FTW

This, if you want MSRs your going to have to find them used. That's the route I took and powder coated them.

The enkei wheels are about the same. The spokes on the wheels actually concave out then in to give it a concaved look by the wheels are still flush. If you're looking for the concaved look, MSRs re going to be your best bet.

There are vendors with brand new sets all over. 18x8 with +42. Only thing is colors are limited to basically silver, black with a white lip, or black with a red lip.

Those craves will not be concave in any offset available for the cobalt. I guarantee it.

They would have, but apparently they dont want to be bothered to drill a different size hole in offsets they already make. Oh well.
