i am thinking about getting the xxr 522 b/c i can get a discount on them but idk if they will have brembo issues since they are concave

 

Mike has been running them for over a year now with a large camber angle so I wouldn't be too worried about em so long as they are from a reputable source and made of a good hard steel that won't give much.
Slammed on vette wheels and honda coilovers runs shims.

 

Convex wheels are what you need to watch for with the Brembos. Depending on the offset that you want to run, The spokes on this wheel actually create more room for the brakes, unlike a wheel where the spokes turn in. I know that these spokes do turn in, but they leave a lot of room for fitment because the turn in is right at the outter rim of the wheel.

 

Does anyone have a picture of said shims? I'm interested to see how they are setup. I haven't really looked at the rear suspension setup on our cars too closely... lol

They go between the hub and rear swingarm, just spaces the bottom out a tad. Here's something for Ford Focus, it's not the same swingarm since we have a single swingarm for both sides, but you can see the difference. http://www.moogproblemsolver.com/_pd..._K80002_En.pdf

same ones varstoens...a buddy told me yesterday that hre has a 5x110 wheel they are working on in a 18.5 i think the offset is +35 but he said hes gonna check hmm hmm hmm lol

 

 

HRE can make any size and offset 5x110 you want

 

never heard of varstoens. must be another ghetto brand like rota, tenzo r etc.
