I emailed King twice about 2 weeks ago . Both responses I got were unreadable .....It was just a bunch of symbols and few words that looked as if it was trying to say " how about silver" .......errr , dont get it . All my emails from him before were readable , the guy speaks perfect english , but those emails look like they went thru a translator or something , hell I dont know .

I jus sent yet another email . For anyone else that wants to inquire personally ....again , his email is King@enkei.com .

Has anything ever come of these rims? Are they available or is this just a song and dance to appease us? Man I'd love to have them, but how long do we have to wait?!

Yeah, I would like to know too. I think this was another one of those "Hey I have a hook-up on ......" And then the person disappears threads.

I could care less about this anymore , nobody said this was a hook up ....and I provided the email address to a specific enkei tech rep ... if YOU wanted to see these rims in a 5x110 . It was INTEREST thread , and Enkei started out sounding very interested . They will no longer return my emails about this issue . Im sick of trying to drag an answer out of Enkei ........

So , Im OVER IT Enkei went from being very enthusiastic about the Cobalt SS to totally non-responsive .

Man that's cool. I just thought someone had something concrete and was just waiting to say when they'd be out. I guess I'll get something else then. Would've liked to have these though. Thanks!

Agreed don't hold our breath...I'd like to hit the chevy engineers in the head with a football bat for giving us a 5X110 bolt pattern.

Yeah, I am not sure what they were smoking when they decided that. I should be receiving a set of Cadillac Catera wheels this week that I bought off of eBay. They are 16", I just hope they don't weigh a lot, but hey for $175 shipped, you can't go wrong.

with enough interest for lightwheight 17x8's maybe its time to see if anyone would be interested in getting Rota's. I think 5 people need to buy the exact same rim ie size, color, style and they will make them custom. And i believe the price was $600 shipped, 300 deposit and 300 when the are finished.

I set up that deal three times, and each time someone bailed on me. I'm still interested, and all that needs to be done is 5 people with the same size, color, offset, etc. can place an order. $600 for a 17x8 set and like $650-700 for 18x8's. Kim Bong was my contact at Rota. I'd still be in for either size on a couple different styles if people are interested. It may be harder to setup the deal for me right now because I am deployed overseas.

Anyone got a pic of these? I'd be interested in some 18x8's for sure. What is the weight of them? It would just depend on seeing them and the color if they're light for that price.

I would be interested, but they would need to be lightweight, meaning 16s. I would like something in Gunmetal.
