? for guys with 16" rims and slicks
what would be the ideal slick size for a 16x7 rim for my ss/sc?
ive been running at the track with street tires and cant stand it anymore!
this friday i ran a 9.0 with a 2.4 60ft at 83 mph in the 1/8th. i wanna get some slicks before the next races, so your input will be greatly appreciated!
thanks in advance!'

235/50/16 is an ideal size. A little wider, slightly shorter.
your stock tire height is 25.6" so if you are goign to go with a tire that has a diameter x width measurement a 7-7.*- 25 or smaller will be your best bet, shorter gearing for the strip helps a bunch.

ive got 2.7" pulley, 60's, cobra h/e, trans mounts, ingalls, full exhaust and intake. i know someone with a spare set of axles laying around. i know how to controll whellhop IF i get it. plus tires will help out a great deal in that aspect. tires are the only thing holding me back now.
