Max Wheel Size for LS

I was wondering if 225/45-17 tire will fit on my LS. I am planning on buying tires and wheels very soon and I wanna see what the widest tire I can put on without having it rub on the sidewall during turns. Any comments and info would help. Thanks!

You can slap in a 20s on it if you'd like (not lowered) but the 17s with 40s should be perfect. If you're still not sure go to this site http://www.bigwheels.net/ it tells you what your car's wheels and tires info and such..

I have 225/50/16s, and they do not rub lock to lock -- so you should be fine with those, they're nearly the same size as mine, just have a bigger hole in the middle!

I have sportlines and 225-40-18 tires, and I have no problems at all.
