overall diameter question

so im thinking of upgrading my 17's to solstice gxp 18's....ive already basically figured out that the wheels will fit but my question is...the tires on the 18's have an overall diameter that is 1.5 inches larger than those of the 17's...is this going to cause problems with the various sensors in the car?? (abs, bcm, pcm, etc)???

fyi the 2 tire sizes are
205/50R17 on the 17x7's
and
245/45R18 on the 18x8's

if anyone knows of any other problems I will encounter doing this please let me know!!

prob gonna throw some winter tires on the stock wheels seeing as at amost 20k miles the pirellis are almost shot

A 235 or less will be better suited for the application.

i know but im trying to avoid having to take the brand new 245 goodyear eagle f1's off the wheels...im trying to buy them at work b/c we put 19's wheels on a car we have in stock so the OEM 18's w/ tires are just sitting in the shed out back.

I'm pretty sure that the offset will really screw things up.

I've talked about this with someone before, and I don't remember the numbers, but the SKY wheels tried on a Redline did not fit, even though they were 5x110.
