so i finally decided

I had some rims from my eclipse that i took off and was going to sell however no one wants to buy them for what im asking (there were 1500 and i was asking 700) so i came to the decision today to just redrill them and set them on the cobalt. local shop is asking 75-100 for doing this. the rims are velox scythe rims 18s with a nice bright silver finish. i think that with the victory red would really be a head turner. i may later down the road get them re done in a bronze color similar to the sti color. anyways heres a pic of the rims

its a closed face so no one can se the redrill the center is also REAL carbon fiber not that fake crap that they have on the ebay stuff. also no one on the east coast has them in there shops from what i know and have been told.

Not bad at all, I would not put them on my car, but should look nice on the red. Post some pics when its all done and said...good choice not to spend more cash on new rims for the cobalt.

mine were 5x100 or the 5x114 there going to redrill or expand the 5x100 to at 5x110 and slide in some retainers and other stuff so taht it works perfectly. the rim is going to be closed gap so i wont even see anything that is going in or being redrilled. the rims look ALOT better then in that picture the center peace is alot smaller so it will show more of the rotor off and brake system from the front to back.

you should modify the 5X114 holes instead that will give you better availability to sell them to somone with 5x100 in the future. plus it takes less milling to change from 114 to 110
