Stanced guys get in here

DOM, nathan, josh, spooled, Will, any of you guys feel free to post up. heres my question..

i got back into a balt. and i want stnace like fat kids want cake. heres what im looking at
-switching to 5x114.3 via redrilled hubs and brakes from mongorat
-going with xxr 527 wheels in bronze

my question is about offset and tires.
the 527s come in 18x8.75, will a 235/40 be a good tire for these without stretching too much?
and they come in offsets of +20 and +35. would i be better off going with the 35 and a small spacer, or the 20? i know 20 is a lot of poke. so share with me you stance knowledge.
also im just on progress springs right now, but coils will be purchased come tax time

XXR Wheels: 527 18x8.75 Matte Bronze Rims

go with a +20. that will be lots of poke but give you that "stanced" look as long as you are low enough and have the proper fender work. as far as 235, you might wanna go 225 or even 215. 235 wont really stretch much on a 8.75" wide rim.

You probably wont get much of a reply because you are using "fake" wheels.

I perfer a set up that functions good and suspension with travel. I don't care what they cost as long as they look decent on the car. Hell I knew a guy that paid $2500 for a set of mugen wheels that looked like **** but because they were real so many people "liked" them

imo anything over 1k for just rims is unnecessary. you can get a lot of good **** for 1k that is an upgrade over stock (lighter)

Your going for what is referred to as meaty fitment. If I were you I would get the +35 and use a spacer to get it exact
