UniDirectional tire... which way?

I have a set of MKW M71 Gun Metal Black wheels and Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 225/40ZR18XL on order from BigWheels.net

When they get here I'm gonna need the answer to the following question:

They are a unidirectional tread, which way should the "v" be facing if looking at it from the front of the car? ^ or v

Thanks in advance.

There should be a marking on the side wall that says direction of rotation. the tread pattern will look like a V tho to answer your question.

Figures it'd be something easy. I had no idea it said that on the side wall.

Just for the record, "uni-directional" means that the tire can be mounted either way. Those tires are "directional". Nice wheel choice by the way.....I have the M72s on mine

uni = one

"Unidirectional" tires are designed for a side specific position, either the right side of the left side and are unidierectionally designed to roll and perform in a given position on the vehicle. If installed in the wrong position the tire will not perform its intended function. However, no damage or premature wear to the tires will result. The tire should be dismounted and remounted to roll in the proper direction and on the proper side of the vehicle.

asymmetrical tires can go any which way.

You're right, I got mixed up on the uni-directional, lol. Asymmetrical can roll either way, but must still be mounted a certain way as there is an inside and an outside of the tread pattern.
