So winter in Michigan is coming up and I heard Cobalts aren't that great in the snow. So I want to swap on a cheap set of rims and tires. I was wondering if I could get some rims off a cavy and put them on the Cobalt?

I don't believe the bolt pattern on the cavi's are 5X110. You probably can't, but you may want to do a little more research on that as I'm not completely positive

 

NOpe, Cavalier won't work on ANY cobalt. Cavalier = 5x100, Cobalt = 5x110 on the SS models, 4x100 on the pre-07 base models.

 

what cheap rims will transfer to a coblat!

 

most saab rims, HHR rims, 07 Cobalt rims. Not too many people carry this bolt pattern seems to be a GM thing.
