ZZP Big Brake Kit

Hi! I apologize in advance if there’s already a thread about this, I did search and couldn’t find it.

So I have an 06 cobalt ss and I also have a 12 Malibu. I plan on purchasing the ZZP big brake kit for the cobalt but my Malibu also needs new brakes and I was just curious if the ZZP kit would fit the Malibu because then Ill order two of the kits and do both at once? I heard that the brakes and stuff is interchangeable but wanted to verify before I have an extra kit I cant use.

I can't answer your fitment question, but came here to tell you that you don't need bigger brakes on an 06 SS (and definitely not on a Malibu).
I tracked my 2010 SS beast (specs in my sig, and granted it has the Brembo brakes) and the stock brakes with race pads did just fine. So unless you are going for looks or the cool factor, don't waste your money on these kits. Just some friendly advice. Take it or leave it

So I actually have done the Brembo upgrade on my 06 ss and I can say that stopping power was SIGNIFICANTLY upgraded over stock. It’s your build. Build it the way you want it

Significant difference between the single piston design used on the 05-07 SS and the four piston Brembos on the 08-10. Going from the Brembo to ZZPs big brake kit is not a significant improvement for the cost.

If the OP goes to the LNF Brembo kit not the big break kit (I think CTSV Brembos) the braking performance will be at the cost/performance trade off point.
