1/4 mile friendly? These cars aren't 1/4mile friendly unless equipped with slicks.

Std. I'd suggest fully bolted and if possible e47 then you're good to go

I'm still stock clutch so I would want something conservative until I can afford a better clutch the bring the power up. If not just do a 91 tune

As long as it spools in the 1/4 i dont want anything thats gonna make the car slow from digs and the highway pulls is what im after. I was gonna get the k04r but my competitive side will want more power with in a month. So sounds like a 7163 will be better. I live where its hot to, a little k04r just kinda screams heat problems.

I run 70% in first and 85% in second and she goes pretty good from a dig. The k04r is a really fun turbo just doesn't compare to the 7163

Reason why I just wanna jump the K04r and just go 7143 why spend money on something and then not be completely satisfied

i found launching from a dig easier with the 7163 then with the k04r and if you are over 3000rpm the 7163 spools really fast

True i was waiting for the 7163 to come out still when my stock turbo **** the bed so i basically had no choice but to get the k04r and wait for the 7163 to come out but it's a great turbo especially for only $600

Yup exactly my stock turbo is fine so no point if I'm going to upgrade might as well be a 7163

Yeah sounds like the 7163 is a target on black friday this year. With my engine at 100k+ probably some internals to. Just to be on the safe side

Get a good hp tune and you'll be fine. I think they'll sell a bunch of 71s on black friday

I have a bet with my boss that i won't buy anymore parts this year and I'm bringing cash to pay him off on black friday cauae i know I'll be spending some cash
