guidelines are pretty simple, this is how it's done with any business establishment not just zzp.

Also if you claim you left plenty of contact info. you probably messed it up because why would zzp lie about not getting it? because they don't like you? because they will rip you off? no...
You should really read a whole thread before you post...

I hate to be the bad guy(I really do), but how busy are these folks, really? If they are really so busy, then they are making money, and therefore can afford to have enough manning on the phones to take care of customers. Maybe I'm just not important enough.

Don't get mad at me for stating my feelings on a situation that is currently happening. I know people get busy. I know people have important jobs to do. but seriously?

They are very busy as they are a premier vendor for cobalts and other platforms. Just thing about all of the zzp parts people have or just call to inquire about each day. When i was driving back from Chicago with my ss/tc i was trying to order parts while driving. I didnt get an answer the first couple times i called(left a message on the first attempt). But when they did answer they were super friendly and i had my tracking numbers the day after i arrived home.

Trust me when shops become the "go to" spot its very hard to get a hold of them, it doesnt mean they dont care or dont want your business. I have dealt with this from a few companies from the LS1 world and they are great companies but the phone just doesnt always get answered right away.

Just be logical in your approach to this. Here at my work we will do 20,000 transactions of a certain type each day. However, regarding this transaction we received 80,000 phone calls. Not everyone calling their phone is just wham bam and done. Some ask 21 questions or generally waste time, some are direct. But in the confusion not all calls are taken immediately.

Just an unbiased opinion on the matter after having been in the car scene for years and ordered more parts in a single day than most do the entire time they own a car.

Thank you for an intelligent response. I'm being as patient as possible(I'm from Chicago, so that's not saying much). I get what you're saying. I only have one or two questions to ask and then proceed with my order...probably take all of 35 seconds once I get someone.

Then again customer service is a pet piev of mine. It's the reason I have never wanted to work in the service industry. Not many companies have the resources, training, or manpower to truly get it right, in my opinion. Good customer service is expensive.

To me though, the payoff is worth it. Who knows. All I know is that I want to buy an engine from these people and I would love to get a call back...

another thing to consider guys, yes we are extremely busy, so sometimes it makes sense to have another person answering the phones, but with this market, it's not like we can "just hire someone to answer the phone" you HAVE to know this platform, you MUST know a lot about cars...specifically cobalts and grand prix's.....finding that perfect person for that job, that just happens to live in the area AND needs a job, is near impossible.....but like somebody said earlier, leave name, number (w/ area code) and an order # or what you need help with and you'll get called back usually within 24 hours (unless the message was left on a friday or saturday)
