LNF 2.4 and 2.1

Hi all,
I've seen Matt M writing on one of my threads about 2.4 and 2.1 setups being tested on the LNF. Since I'm running a 55/57 PTE turbo, and it is spooling at 4k rpms, BYT (Nick is the guy that installed my parts) told me that to get it to spool at like 3k rpms I should turn it into a 2.4 when I build the engine. Matt wrote that it is not too hard to do it. Is it really worth it? Is it true that it can lower the spooling down to 3k rpms? If not, is anything else I can do to attain a 3k spool?

Kind of a thread jack but also on topic with your goal...will port and polishing parts (intake mani, head, etc) help with spool time any?

Yes, that would be nice to know too, because when I do the engine, I'm getting the head/cam/valves combo that they make
