Alright I won't be able to do Stainless Steel the cost even with discount is to much.
My question is I live in central Florida and we get hot and humid up here. Will I be okay with mild steel?
I hear the high temp paint burns off in an hour anyways so layers don't matter.

Will I be okay down here and how long will it last as just mild steel?

why would you buy a new downpipe an put your old cat on it then?...its verry restrictive....an if your jus keeping it for emissions an you use your new catless downpipe the rest of the time then your gunna throw a CEL when you have on your catless downpipe

This should work. Its what I plan on doing as well. I have painted a bunch, with high temp paint and have not had any problems yet. Plus, I don't imagine our EGT's are anywhere close to 1200* degrees. So, it shouldn't flake or have any issues.

I'll drop to if I see 19 people deposited AND my megan exhaust order cancels (i e-mailed wesellcarparts.com, and am just waiting patiently.) then i'll deposit.

Apparently you don't understand the price of a dollar now do you? $25 is $25. I'm not going to "just deposit to help out," instead i'll stay out of the group buy until my current exhaust orders cancels and I when this becomes on hell of a deal. If it gets up to 30 people I'll be buying everything SS and the 3" catback.
