I have a lot more than 1500 miles on my DP from them and never had a problem. Hopefully you can get it figured out.

That same damn thing happened to my magnaflow exhaust, but it did last a good 10k before it did it.

I've never really heard anything good out of ZZP's exhaust stuff. The Grand Prix/Regal downpipes they used to sell had bad flex pipes that would actually restrict the exhaust after time. Turns out the "weaves" would come apart on the inside.

Zooomer is a stand up guy. I'm sure if you talk to him he'll work something out for you.

Wow that sucks. I just installed my ZZP midlength header/ dp combo and in less then 24 hours (only 20-30 miles of driving) 1 of the "Grade 9" Bolts snapped. I think it was a combo between 1 the "Grade 9" bolts are a cheap chinese knock off and 2 the bolts are 3/8" and the wholes in the flanges are 7/16" which has a lot of play and could cause the bolts to break. So I upgraded to some 7/16-14 X 2" Grade 8 Yellow Zinc plated bolts with 7/16 Hi-alloy lock washer, 7/16 SAE Thru-hard washers, and some top lock flange nuts. Im hoping the setup lasts longer then the stock set up. lol. Also I have a weird ass noise that I cant figure out. Good luck man, let us know how u make out.

Oh I know. If I replace part of the exhaust, the rest is being replaced along with it. It's just how I am.

I had that same tune, and lets just say I had a AFR in the 13's and 30 degrees of timing. I would suggest going and gettin a REAL tune ASAP.

I have had a ZZP 3 inch hi flow cat pipe for over a year with no problems (with that flex pipe type). It doesn't look like that pipe in the 1st post. What kind of pipe is that?

i have major problems with the zzp setup also. my header doesnt mate up to my downpipe correctly and i had to make my own gaskets that were thick to close the gap. also my bolts were no good, so i got some better ones and some better washers to make it fit. then i found my cat was no good, the 3 inch high flow. we dynoed my car after i put everything on and broke it in correctly and i lost hp. so i cut the damn thing out and it was solid black inside (yes i have a great tune) and if i turn it around there was stuff rolling inside it. so i too have had no luck with there products.
