Zzp H/e Install "Review"
I installed the ZZP Heat / Exchanger over the weekend, here is my install "review".
The install over all was pretty easy. the biggest pain in the ass was getting the hose clamps off the stock hoses. In the end I had to cut them off with a dremel, this could have been inexperience, not sure.
Everything seemed to go on ok until I had to put the front bumper on. The H/E made the bumper stick out by about an inch, and I could not bolt the bumper back on. I managed to readjust it to get it to sit back, but its not on 100% straight. I think when I get time I will go in and re-drill the holes on the top tabs.
Over all its a nice unit, and I think the only reason it had trouble fitting is because of its size.
Knowing what I know now, I would still buy it again.
Almost a week on and no leaking, and I have put about 2L of extra fluid in so far.
How well it works, I'm not sure, the weather here has been up and down like a toilet seat, but the car does seem to run about 10* cooler.
PS: I'm not sure I like the ZZP logo on the front.

Yup, that fitment issue is a definite. What I did was just left the 'top' bolts out and just used the ones on the back of the crash bar. The bumper fits perfect.
I'm glad I got mine before the ZZP logo was being painted on.

No, I did not remove the bumper support bolts. The H/E is barely even on those bolts, and the nuts that I received didnt fit onto them. I will take some pics when I get the bumper skin off again to adjust.
