ZZP Upgraded LSJ Ignition Coil Review
Hey guys, I purchased the ZZP ignition coils on Black Friday (after months of stalking them on their site), and decided I should give a little review on them.... Well, for one, they work! My car makes 299+ whp, flows 40+ lbs/min of air, and revs to 7750 rpm. To prevent spark blowout, I needed to run a 0.032" gap with the stock ignition coils. With the ZZP coils, I can now run a 0.036" spark plug gap (an increase of 0.004" and approx. 0.001" larger than the factory 07' gap). I actually almost got away with a 0.039" gap, but I ended up experiencing some spark blowout at 7500 rpm, so I decided to back it down a tad, and to take into consideration potential spark gap increasing over time. All testing was performed on a nice crisp 38*F NEPA day. The larger gap has the car idling and running smoother than before, and the acceleration seems to have improved as well. All around the car just feels smoother and stronger. Now someone with the ability to mess with the spark dwell will get a little more out of these coils for sure, but even for us guys who can't, they are a worth while purchase. A++ job on these ZZP. Thanks!!

I did manage one pull w/o blowout at 0.039", but I was feathering the throttle due to wheel spin, so I didn't count it.

During the black friday sale, or just before it. if you went to the ignition tab it would show cobalt coilpacks and it let you select LNF. :00000 I didn't have the money to buy them and they didn't even announce them either lol.
