Ok so, I have been driving my 07 SS/SC for about 7 months now, love the damn thing. Good news is that I am receiving about 17000 from a settlement. After investing 12k I will have about 5 to play with. I am getting a stage 2 kit and the SLP dual exhaust, however i am not sure what intakes have been the best for the engine or what upgrades I need so I don't completely destroy the world. Any thoughts????

Since you have the money, I'd get nice cooling mods first, heat exchanger, devils own alcohol/water injection, and dual bypass intercooler. Then from there work on a full exhaust system Intake/headers/dp/exhaust. Then change pully and injectors etc, cams etc...

 

i have an 07 and had it for 7 months too! love it, anyways the injen intake has worked great with my car and i haven't had any problems, make sure u buy the hydro shield too, for any other upgrades i would ask whats ur goal?

 

Don't forget to work on suspension....

 

The real question is do you need/have to keep your warranty?

 

You asked for opinion's so ... When i heard the SLP exhaust i cringe ... they have great F-Body exhaust's but i thing they missed the mark on the cobalt's .
