2.2 prothane tranny mounts

just want to know if anyone has had problems (performance wise) after installing the prothane tranny mounts from TTR cus i installed mine about november of last year and ive had no problems with them what im asking is that ive heard some ss/sc guys getting false knock in third with these mounts because there to hard and ive also heard that the knock sensor is in the same spot on all three motors 2.0, 2.4, 2.2 (please correct me if im wrong) now has anybody logged or is there anyway to log a 2.2 to see if there is false knock

Why would a mount cause knock?

2.0 guys were getting knock with solid mounts, not prothane ones.

There is no way the prothane bushings are giving false knock, they are a very large bushing, which dampens the movement, but also dampens the engine vibs, not to the point of false knock though

thanks for the info , what was happening was when those mounts were installed on there cars they were logged with hp tuners but realized they were getting knock through out third gear so they swapped the mounts back to stock and knock was gone so they swapped back again and there was knock again they said it was do to the mounts being to hard and the knock sensor being to close it was causing false knock and this was tested on 2 or 3 ss/sc now they have switched over to avids medium mounts and there not having any problems with knock. im not trying to talk trash or anything i just trying to find out some info because ive also heard that the knock sensor is in the same location on all 3 motors so i just want to know since they are affected by this problem would the same problem affect the 2.2 and 2.4 , im also not bad mouthing the mounts either cus i personally havnt noticed any affects while having them on my car im just trying to get some info thanks

ive had all 3 prothane mounts from TTR for a while now, and when i really get on it, WOT @ 6500 rpms, the CEL comes on (usually in third) and doesnt go off for a few days, im positive this is the knock sensor, from the prothane mounts. but as long as it goes off after a while, (when just driving to work or whatever) youve got nothing to worry about.
