They are the least efficient, but it's better than nothing.

Now you need Paxton and Vortech to join the game. Hell. maybe even KB will take a shot at it. doubtful, but you never know.

I've seen this kit before. That last dyno chart is all over the place.

It would be nice to show just the final dyno at 9PSI w/torque and RPM range.

Speed Mafia just makes brackets for generic procharger kits to fit the Ion.

I doubt it would fit since the Cobalt engine bay is more cramped.

is this kit for the cobalt 2.2s because it only says ion and it also only goes up to an 04 so would it fit my 05 if it fit on the cobalts?

for the money i would rather get the turbo kit its only like 300 more and adds about 30 more hp. If it will fit the 2.2L ion it should fit the cobalts 2.2L because they are the same engine. Just the engine bay may be a little different and could run into clearance issues

So whats going on with the pro charger for the 2.2l i can custom fit it on but i wanted to know if i need to mod it at all cause of the bay. thats why a turbo for the 2.2 would be much better.

yes, i did take a quick look at a Cobalt and i am waiting on my brackets to finish up so i can fit in a procharger on a cobalt and design the piping (about 2 hrs worth of work no biggie) and front mount intercooler and bam...the 2.2L is procharged! So there will be no cutting to the stock engine pieces...etc it will be a direct bolt on

also...alpine development does offer a turbo kit for the 2.2L at a nice price, and it comes with tuning and i believe TNT sells the kit from alpine

Thanks Kevin
