Hrmmm I am irritated.
Monday's are officially the most evil of all weekdays.
So 4 weeks ago, I stopped at a local Dealer, actually where i bought my '99 cavalier from. And showed intrest in purchase of a 4 door cobalt SS (which i found out they were sports now). We talked, i discussed what i wanted in the vehicle. He took notes and we talked for about 30 minutes. 4 weeks later (this week) I contact him back, regarding this vehicle optomistic that I would have a Cobalt in about 2 weeks, he was very nice and reassured me, and i quote "Yeah we can find you anything!".
After a week of him trying to track something down... No Silver 4 door 5speed sports are within 500 miles. He said he checked a 500 mile + radius. I at this point, am just irritated to no end.
Oh, but rest assure! They have an Auto!!! with everything else i wanted on the Balt!
.. i really really do not want an auto =\ I've expressed this, in every e-mail & phone conversation had. So they have everything i want, but the transmission is different, i even asked if they could swap tranny's. Service dept said they would NOT do that. Booo.. DIAF service dept, DIAF.
I'm awe-struck as to what to do. I'm assuming this color & type along w/ a sunroof.. just DO NOT exist. So today I did send McCluskey Chevrolet an email, I've yet to hear back from them. I'd just prefer to have a god damned Manual once in my life. Grrrr....
It's not been a very good day at all, he did find a red one.. but that means i'd have to pay to have the GDmnd thing re-painted. -_-
probably an easy what, $2000-$2500? pffft.
I tell ya, aparently even when you have cash in hand to drop, you still can't get wtf you want. This sucks.
