Alright so I'm looking into buying some projectors for my car but I'm undecided on which ones would look best. So what I'm asking is if anyone could post some pictures of any gen. projectors in a black G5 (preferbly a GT) so I could see whats the best. Thanks.

 

I have 2nd Gens they are the best looking ones IMHO but quality is ****

After a month on one side the halos stopped working and on both sides the top CCFL died in the first week.

as for pics (on the middle pic the eyebrows were still working, now all halos are dead, only LED's remain)

Thanks guys. I'm stuck between the 2nd and 3rd gens. Im leaning more towards the 3rd gens but there's just something about the 2nd gen ones that I like to. So I dunno...

 

dont get 2nd gens, worst cutoff line of them all

if u want the best light output for HIDs get gen 1s, other than that i would get gen 3s if i had to but i still prefer gen 1s.

the cutoff line on the first gens is insane.


the later gens do have those CCFLs that some people like tho. i dont use halos or LEDs... tacky IMO

 

 

Been looking into this hard for the past hour. Ive decided on the 3rd gens. Now my friend is getting an HID kit for his Z24 Cavi through his work and he said he can get me the same deal. What size HID bulbs is it for the 3rd gens?

Thanks liljone.... yeah i got the same headlights i was just looking today at all these how to on those lights. trying to figure out what has to be done when i get home. Then i was reading about throwing HID in there so i was curious to see what you got. Looks Great!
Is it pretty simple hooking HID to these projectors?

 

HID bulb size for projectors are H1. Regular bulb size is 9007

 

true to an extent

1st and 3rd gen are H1 bulbs
2nd gen is H7
stock is 9007
stock foglights are H11

I didnt mean I only thought about it for an hour. Ive spent the past week looking at the different lights. I just mean I spent the past hour looking at the bulb sizes and quality of the lights.
