Its not really a "per side" deal at a shop......its gonna be per spring, but theylly wrap it up all pretty as one price....$100 would be cheap by me

I'd do that **** for $20 a side.

It's literally an hour job.

Keep the $100 and do it yourself. It is a good hour spent with a friend and is one of the easiest jobs you will do on your suspension. It should not take more than an hour (2 if you are really dickin around), so think of that as making $100/hour of labor. It will probably be a while before you can pull that in again.

If you have never worked on a car before this is a good way to start. There is a good write up in the how-to section and it will give you more confidence to do future projects so you dont always have to put money aside for installs.

If $ is no issue for you and you do not like getting your hands dirty than a shop should charge no more than $80-100 I would assume, but try to do it somewhere they do alignments as well b/c that is the next necessary step. (add another $40-50 for alignment)

I was going to have a shop do it, but the cheapest was over $200. I said forget it and took a day off work because I wasn't sure what I was in for. It was about 3 hours with a break and an issue with a strut. It was my first time doing springs. Could do it in about half that time if I did it again.
