whats the 0-60 on base coupe model cobalt?

 

The automatic was timed at 8.4 seconds by Car & Driver, which is faster than most of the competition's manual trannys. Don't know what the Cobalt's manual time is - I'm guessing an even 8 seconds?

 

cool thanks i was woundering cause i might get one this summer, my parents are talking about getting a 05 base coupe, i keep telling them manual but who knows with them

 

look under cobalt videos here on this site... and watch the first vid clip... i think... if i remember right its 0-6 is in like 6.1 seconds.... which isnt that bad... great comp with the srt... in my opinion... hope this helps

 

That's the SS/SC. The original poster is wondering about the normal coupe.

 

its probably the same as the auto... 8.4, maybe 8.3.

 

oh right... yeahv sorry i was stating the 0-60 time for the s/c sorry bout that.
