What springs gives the biggest drop?

Hey guys,

New to this platforum, so could use the help. Read the 101 sticky on the top of this page. But none of the lowering springs list the ss/sc drop specifically. Does anybody know which springs have the biggest drop (actual # from company for ss/sc car). I've only ever used eibach springs, but willing to try H&R.

On the cavy, i had a large drop but was using gc coil overs with koni yellows. Since i haven't read of any aftermarket struts, looking to just use springs till some stuff comes out on an 05 ss/sc.

Any preference on this site? My friend experienced sagging with this H&Rs on his jbody .

Thanks
Nate

These are not specific to the ss but they will give you an idea what drops the most.

KW coilover 2.0
Eibach pro 1.4 1.6
Eibach sportline 1.6 1.8
Progress 2.0 1.8

Im sure there are more then that. Im not sure what the HR springs are.

But has anybody had any problems with H&R? Anybody have any problems with any specific springs?

Befor you slam your car you need to read my thread on Suspension geometry. I have not posted it yet as im not done with it but its going to give you alot of info that you will need befor droping your car.

There are some negative afects to droping a car to much. And that can include making it handle whorse then it did stock if not done properly.

ill be posting it as soon as I have it done.

A few days or so. Im working 14 hour days right now.

I was using eibach sportlines which were great for handling and all and gave a nice drop but i went with H&Rs to give it more of a drop for Show use. I dont drive my car alot so thats the reason i went with H&Rs. One day I will go with coilovers.

Tenzo's have great quality and stiffen up the ride. Only problem is on an SS/SC the drop isnt worth it. Base balts get 2+ inches with tenzos.

H&R is good, progress is good, and ZZP offer SSC which is really good, and all priced reasonably
