CObalt SS/SC question on tranny

Hi Guys,

I bought my 2007 SS/SC about a month ago and learned how to drive stick with it for the first time. My question is, about 2 weeks ago I was in 4th gear and twice I had to brake in an emergency to avoid hitting a stray dog. I completely forgot to press the clutch and my car bucked really hard and stalled my car. Will this do major damage in the long run to my car, especially 4th gear? I only have about 1,200 miles on it.

Thanks!

It isn't necessarily BAD for the car, however I have to say that learning to drive a stick in this car is not the best.
