Bad Luck

Well.. I haven't been on much lately.. mainly because I haven't had my Cobalt much. It was in the shop for about 5 weeks because of a broken sunroof. Seems like a long time but I wasn't complaining because I had a Grand Prix for a rental car! haha... Well I get my car back early last week and what happens last night... that's right some idiot pulls out in front of me and the entire front end is F@#$@# up now! So looks like I'll once again be without my cobalt for awhile.. the bad thing is this time I got a Honda Accord for a rental and it's just no where near the Grad Prix or even my Cobalt!

One bright spot though, the person admitted fault to the insurance company and I don't have to pay a single cent... oh and no one was injured other than just a bruised shoulder..

Yeah that really sucks. Also about the sunroof deal, it seems common for them to break. Mine broke too and was in the shop for a few weeks.

BlueThunder2006.... I got hit in the Downtown Disney Parking lot, happiest place on earth.. ppphhtttt..... but I have to say one thing.. Progressive ROCKS!!! they have been amazing, and paid for everything, it helps that the girl that hit me also has progressive. But they really have been great and sent me an email today telling me that I should have the Cobalt back by the 14th.. so we'll see how true they are to there word!

Hot Carls R/T .... My sunroof break was just one of the little plastic clips that control the movement, the dealer said most likely something fell in the track (like a small rock) and when I went to close it the piece just broke... It was completely covered under warranty but it took forever for them to get the part in!

People get crazy there...

I half-expected you to say it happened on Colonial. I once had 3 near-disasters between Mills Ave. and the railroad crossing...

Update

Well just a quick update.. I got the Cobalt back on Friday night and everything looks great.. I wasn't to worried about the color matching since it is very new an d hasn't had time to fade any!

The grand total ended up being $4K thank god for insurance! That includes all new front bumper both headlights, radiator, washing fluid reservoir, front quater panels, hood, fog lights, support braces in the front, and there was something that they fixed with the a/c unit but I can't quite remember if they replaced the condensor unit?? But that's my long list...

Just glad to have the cobalt back!!!
