PhotoShop for a paint job
PhotoShop for a paint job
I was wondering if someone could teach me how to photo shop a new paint job onto my car.
I'm looking at wanting to change the paint to silver metal flake w/ gold metal flake traditional flames w/ a final top coat of Candy Apple Red over it all

it's pretty easy actually. get your picture into photoshop, and duplicate the layer. you want to work on the duplicate layer, not the original. use the lasso tool (not magnetic lasso the regular one) to trace out the area you want to change. dont' worry about the windows right now. after you have the area you want selected, go to Image > adjustments > variations. mess with the colors till it's the way you want it. once you have it the color you want, use the eraser tool to clean up any areas you colored that you didn't want to. like the windows, etc.
Ok, that solves one problem and that sound pretty easy. The hard part comes now, all though thinking about it i might have just figured it out typing this but ill ask anyway.
How would i get the traditional flames on to the car? (like i said i probably just figured it out in my head) but i just want to see what you would say so i dont sound like a fool trying to explain what im thinking
