Goldline Springs Installed w/ Pix

This was the rear gap, stock. Loose as my ex girlfriend, am I right?

Likewise for the front.

Gettin' her ready. This is my shop. We got these new 4 post lifts, they freakin' rule.

Nother shot. Got the sticker in a few days ago too.

Goldlines installed in the rear, bumpstop cut 1" in accordance with the instructions.

New rear wheel gap. Should drop a tad bit more once they get settled.

Rear gap again.

Startin' the front.

Dissembled strut assembly

All new shocks, I like 'em.

I'll get some better pictures next time I go do a real photoshoot.

The hardest part about the entire install was the jacking procedure for the rear. None of the 3 types of jacks I had did what I wanted them to do, so I ended up just using the lift to drop the car onto the jackstands.

First impressions on the ride home: I love them. Handling is incredible, and I was extremely happy with the ride quality, it's better than stock, no joke. Extremely pleased with the Goldline product, will recommend to anyone.

does dropping these cars make them ride like ****? i drive a lot and i dont want something that rides like a frickin hay wagon...also does it make it impossible to pull in and out of places due to clearance issues? its already quite a bitch as it is

Ride quality is great. Better than stock. And unless you've got reeallly shitty streets, it won't be a problem. There's a few tricky steep parts around here that I have to navigate at an angle, but not worrisome enough to not drop it.

nice--i'll check into these a bit more--i am dropped on Eibach Sportlines right now..and while i love the look, I hate the ride. I swear it feels like there are no shocks at all. Every little bump in the road is magnified 10x inside the cabin. Uneven road patches? Forget about it...that sends a bang through the car so loud you'd swear your engine just fell out. Plus, my exhaust scrapes on every speedbump in my apartment complex--exhaust keeps coming loose because the suspension's so tight. I"ll check back in 6 months after they settle and see how you like them. I'm considering going back to stock just for ride comfort, since it's my daily driver.

Yeah, actually, they did, but I uh... forgot.

:p

To be honest, I've never bottomed out the fronts, and I've hit some pretty big obstacles, so I'm not worried about it.

They recommend 1 inch front and back, FYI.
