well. I would imagine you would need the getrag tranny as well. not to mention ecu swap and etc etc etc.

but he said it came with the ECU, hmm, so basically you get the whole front clip than right? if so, check if you need the tranny, cuz if you do than you have to add that to the total cost, plus the install, in the end you might be spending more than what its worth, you'll spend a good 4k on it, i suggest gettin the turbo kit, simple bolt on...no need ot go all out and remove ****

pain in the ass. lots of money. even though i like the supercharger. i would go turbo with direct bolt on before engine swaping if you dont know what you are doing.

Honestly... If you can get everything for a decent price... I'd go for it.

at the very least you would need the motor, tranny, ecu, engine wiring harness and axles...I don't believe anyone has attempted it so who knows what little small things you would need. so unless you have the know how it probably wouldn't be worth it as there aren't going to be many guys that can answer any questions you would have.

a more feasible swap would be the 2.4 motor but again no one has attempted it to my knowledge.

if you've got the funds and knowledge why not though, its the same chasis so its not like it couldn't be made to work.

I thought you were planning something when you started asking for all the 2.0 parts haha.

i don't see why it wouldn't work. its the same dam car other then the drive train. if its a whole front clip then it shouldn't be a problem. i think that the biggest problem is gonna be that unless you get the same wheel size your speedo will be off. please let us know how this works out. i've been thinking about it myself.

would be cheaper to follow the 450hp build book for the 2.2 L61 then to swap out the L61 for the LSJ

You took the words right out of my mouth. The money your going to have in the motor alone , you could put in your 2.2 and have a completely built n/a motor, then just either buy a supercharger off here, or go turbo, and smoke the crap out of the 2.0's.

I don't think the F23 tranny is a direct swap into a 2.0

to my knowledge you can't use the F35 on the 2.2 either

so that pretty much means new axles, brakes, wheels
