Cobalt SS LSJ 2.0 SUPERCHARGED BREAKING THE 400 WHP BARRIER!
#26
Been a long process. Knowing wat we know now about better head porting and some mods to the bottom end to make the engine run as efficiently as possible and to keep the blower from robbing a **** ton of power. Got some plans for the near future for alot more power! More flow = less boost = More power in more ways than 1 lol.

You're also not revving up to 8700rpm either. He's making ~250ftlb up at 8700rpm, you'd be lucky to see 200 if you could get up there.

In & exh side both just ported? (That thing sounds like it FLOWS!)
Stock or oversized valves?
Which brand/type pistons and rods you have in here?
Although I run an 80mm pulley on the TVS to keep my IAT's low-ish (road coarse racing...), I see I can use some Stage 3's in my life.

That does not sound much different what you had before:

(that's not yet on E85 there, not?)
The new "monster port" head must be something... :-)

Nah I drove 320 miles home on the stock intake/TB from Tjolley's.
Kind of been my motto with this entire build. Trevor Jolley and I built this to be driven, beat the living @$#$#%$ out of it, then drive it back home.
I'm obviously not doing 1000+ mile drives in it, but a near 700 mile round trip is a true test for a engine like this one.
The OTTP 3.5" CAI actually fits really well; I've had it installed properly in the past. We just had it installed that way for ease of install during the dyno.

Interesting that the LS4 TB + 3.5" intake starts showing a difference above ~3500rpm but then the gain starts declining after about 7k... wonder what the next restriction is?

Congratulations! As far as I know you have the highest TVS SC'ed car around! As said in the past, very well done. Car sounds awesome!
Turbo Tim made 402 (iirc) on the M62 for a while, its nice to see someone go after the record like that!

He was somewhere around there on E98.
Time for the 2.6 pulley to spread the gap even further.
I'm itching to drop another grand and just start development/testing on the larger 1mm+ intake/ 2mm+ exhaust valve head with Tjolley.
There's a bit of power left on the table if the boost can get into the lower 20 psi range on a 2.6 without bumping the displacement.
Would help keep the IAT2 at bay too... temps sky rocket past 8000.. doesn't help it's on a stock endplate :P
