So, i searched, came up empty and now i'm askin for some assistance here. Has anyone else had a problem with their boost gauge flickering? I noticed about 2 weeks ago that my boost gauge lighting flickers all the time. I took it back to the dealer, they warrantied it out saying it was an internal short and got a brand new one. This one too does the same thing. I tried telling them I didn't think it was the boost gauge at all and that it was some sort of wiring issue, but they did their own thing and didn't listen to a word i said. Now, brand new guage and all, same issue. Anyone have any ideas as to the cause or how to remedy this? It's kind of annoying while i'm driving to have it flickering at me and pisses me off too. The car only has 11k on it and i baby it so i don't get it. I'm gonna be calling the dealer back tomorrow and askin what the eff is up because it's still doing it but any input from here would be handy to have when i go back in.

ps, while i was there this round I had to have my blower motor replaced and that bezel for around the sunroof button too. Why my new car is breakin so much is a boggle to me...glad they offer warranty lol

Check fuse 15 /wper fuse in the bcm it powers the gauge,also jiggle the bcm with the light on to see if
you get a reaction from the light.
Then you will know if you have a loose connection on the bcm.

 

Mine did this a year or so ago , i haven't noticed it since . I'm interested in what you find out thou.

 

I have a 07 ss/sc and ive had 3 of them replaced!LOL It still does it once in awhille, so i gave up on it.! (Dean Myers Chevrolet)! They suck. I also have an engine rattle at idle. I love the car, but parts are always faulty.
