Still doesn't want it lol, trust he's the last person I'd expect to want a GM car, but he says if he can't have Dodge, he'd take a chevy over a Ford anyday. Plus my lil car is just dead sexy.

On forums, there is never a limit on leg humping.

How much aftermarket is available for the CSRT's? I know the SS/TC has only a couple things out and the Beta version of HPTuners is just coming out or whatever.

I'm slowly getting better! lol Well I'm pretty good now, no stalling anymore, not for at least a month. I'm pretty sure I'll be driving stick from now on. And for the record, I've only seen one csrt4 in my area and it was going the other way.

I guess its kinda neat having the only one in the area. It makes me feel special. Good to hear youre getting the stick down. I will never go back to auto.

It is, I do feel special, and now that my windows are tinted no one can see me inside and are surprised when it's a girl who beat them lol. I do however find it harder to drive when I'm reeeeeally tired, that's when auto is good haha.

CSRT4 (as in Caliber SRT4) is not 1000 lbs heavier it's about 70 lbs heavier than the SS\TC and still it's got bad aerodynamics and does not run the quarter faster than 14.4@ 98 mph . My SS\TC in 100 degree air at a 1240' track with 40% humidity and a dew point of 65* with a barometric pressure of 29.72 ran a 13.8 @ 103 stock. I've raced a CAI CSRT4 last week and put two plus cars on him at the track three times!!! Same for a new Mustang GT 2008, I ran two, one a stick the other an auto and both were stock, the stick GT ran 14.2 at 101 and the auto GT ran 14.7 at 96. I ran back to back 13.8' at over 102-103 mph . i think the SS\TC is under-rated far more than the CSRT4, Even a new 09' SRT8 Challenger could do no better than 13.8 at 103>> right in line since the SRT8 Chal is in automatic form first then the manual models will come out next spring and run half a sec faster at 13.3 or so and trap about 107. I'm telling you all, these new big, heavy, FAT V8 powered cars are not all that, I know I've owned a few

CSRT4's typically run low 14's with decent driver.

You should have raced the CSRT4 from a roll!

You sir are wrong about the weight but right on about the slowness of the csrt4 sorry, Lets see official curb weight is 3189 straight from dodge but three different sources range from 3189-3248 lbs depending on options ordered on it. so in a nutshell 240-300 lbs heavier than the ss/tc Im not too worried about this car lol even slower than the ms3 even 100lbs the difference in the sedan and coupe ss will be more weight than I want extra I'd rather deal with the folding seats than have the extra weight.
full test This is mainly a result of it being just too damn heavy. At 3,248 pounds as tested, it's almost 100 pounds heavier than the porky Mazdaspeed 3 and 81 pounds heavier than the Subaru WRX, which packs an all-wheel-drive powertrain.
At the Track
Dodge says the SRT-4 is good for 0-60 times in the "low 6-second range" and we verified that claim. Our car hit 60 in 6.2 seconds and went on to complete the quarter-mile in 14.6 seconds at 100 mph. The last Mazdaspeed 3 we tested was 0.1 second quicker in both tests. Launches were hampered by the "bog or boil" effect, where the engine either falls on its face or the tires spin uncontrollably. This is likely a drawback of the inertial effects of heavy wheels and tires.
While at the track we compared the Caliber's "performance pages" display against our testing equipment. The car's computer measures acceleration, handling and braking, and displays those numbers on the dashboard. It proved optimistic. Acceleration was the most egregiously miscalculated. The car's computer claimed a 0-60 time of 5.7 seconds and a quarter-mile of 13.8 seconds — much quicker than our numbers. 6.2 0-60 and 14.6 quarter mile times.

Stock blah blah blah. The CSRT4 makes more power than both the SS/TC and the MS3 when it comes to upgrades. Good drivers run low 14's stock.

Slap a DP, K&N filter, and muffler delete on the CSRT, and guess what? 290-300 whp. The problem you guys are overlooking is this. The CSRT4 has a VERY SHITTY exhaust and air box.

The airbox: Could hardly hear the turbo with the stock filter. Slapped in the K&N, now its clear as day and I have improved spool + throttle response

The DP: This is the true power adder. The stock exhaust is 3" throughout, however it bottle necks at the DP and the mufflers. With a catless DP, most see a 2-3 car gain from a roll.

The muffler delete: This doesnt add as much power as a catless DP, however it does allow the turbo to spool faster.

1/4mi times are not a fair comparison due to the lack of suspension mods for the CSRT4. I will tell you however, DCR has one running a 12.0 @ 400 HP, and they are in the process of doing a turbo upgrade. Here are some pics of the turbo they are using:

Nothing like a turbo the size of a dinner plate to rain on everyones parade
