Analog Boost Gauge Swap

i have a '10 ss, and i would like to have the analog boost gauge. has this swap been done before or does anyone know how hard it might be? i tried searching for this, but i didn't find anything. thanks.

why would you want to swap it to the analog? i love my RPD and to be honest if it was that important to me to see vac (since the RPD doesnt show that) id just add an additional boost guage with the RPD

Just run your tube to a VAC line and your good to go.

I'd have to check out the wiring schematic. I've done an analog-to-RPD conversion for a friend, but I don't think you can do it the other way because you don't have the boost signal wire in a factory RPD car.

Your options are:
Keep the RPD and hope a vendor finally comes out with an RPD + gauges pillar.
Keep the RPD and mount a boost gauge separately, running off of a vacuum line.

If you can find an output or wire for the boost signal, like is on the cars that came with the analog gauge, then I think it would be possible.
