Another no Booster

The only thing I've changed recently was to put on a K&N SRI going from a CIA SRI

This is the first time it's ever happened and I had boot on my way home last night and now today no boost , but I can clearly hear the turbo spool.

My thoughts, either the bottom of the hot side charge pipe came off (need to wait until I get home to see it) or I have a crack in the intercooler

But if I had either, would it still have some boost? The RPD needle doesn't move at all.

Any other suggestions??

and no I do not have the GMS1

Any codes? Does it feel like you have boost (just want to eliminate possibility of the gauge not working)?

Like you said one of your connections on your boost tubing probably popped off. If you had a crack in the intercooler that would have to be one massive crack. You said you have no boost at all? Vacuum?

Check your charge pipes for sure. If they're all good I would just take it in for warranty work. Or.....you may have popped a 0299 code (turbocharger under boost). Supposedly the code will reset after a couple of cycles turning the key on and off and you will have full boost again. This would mean that you have a small boost leak. Did you notice if the boost was holding all the way up to redline? If it was dropping a few pounds as your rpm's went up then you could have thrown a 0299 code. If you do that then the computer doesn't let you boost until the code resets.

If your concerned about taking it in for warranty work you can use my cables to go back to stock or check for codes.

If you have a cracked intercooler, you can usually hear the "pshhhhhhhhhh" sound while you're trying to make boost. If it is cracked, it was probably caused by either the hotside or coldside clamp slipping when you left off of WOT and it blew the cooler forward, causing the tank to crack. Good luck, and keep us informed.

Check the lower charge piping. Mine **** the bed, no CEL but a code was set for Turbo Performance. Had a nice hole (TSB) in my charge piping that caused all 21lbs of air to blow onto the road but only when it was warm out because the part expands and contracts.
