I never had products on my own vehicle from them, but I had a friend that was coming almost on a daily basis here on the island with intercooler piping problems(Bad welds= multiple leaks) and the turbo that he got from them blew out in a matter of a month. We called them and they were very cocky and offered us nothing to have parts replaced. He and I got so sick of their **** and he eventually had the turbo rebuilt and sold the kit to someone else. We recommended that they get other intercooler piping from say CIA, hahn or Dejon.

I never heard of them having bad parts before. When I had my GTP pretty much everyone loved ZZP. As far as customer service I've heard and read on some forums that Zoomer can be a dick at times.

I am on these boards a lot and I can say I've seen more posts about ZZP's products throwing CEL's more than any other on here, like the DP's seem to cause every car to toast the O2 sensor or the bung isnt angled right .. I don't know , just an observation. I love my CIA pipes and DP but the CAI is another story..

Anyways, ZZP "F@$% them" and Zoomer
BACK TO THE THREAD. So they will be completely changing the Compressor housing? I'm guessing that were going to have to get modified piping? Correct me if I'm wrong.

For what the outlet is the same size so is the inlet .

The OD of the inlet and outlet are supposed to be the same size so the stock piping or any aftermarket pipes should be able to be used.

Also, from what I understand, this is how things should shape up:
Stage1 2860 stock machined housing with stock BPV stock WG(bolts right up and everything stay the same)
Stage2 2860 machined/ upgraded housing, no BPV aftermarket WG(maybe), you will need a BOV
Stage3 2871 Same as above.

Yeah it should be the same as stated, so pipes should fit.

So another question, the Stage 3 2871, is that staying as a journal bearing or Ball Bearing?

Will the Stage 1 be limited to the 22.5 ibs's since its in the stock turbo housing or could you push 28ib's? I guess not limited, but not recommended to push it farther than that.

Cool story bro. I'm sure in house they have the best for their cars, but what, leave the customers feeling the way my friend did? The reason why they shunned him was cause they didn't want to deal with someone in Hawaii. ******* ******, after he invested all that money. So again, great, glad their in-house **** runs, what about the client?

Dont forget to post up the info if you find out what type.
From the compressor maps that a friend mentioned to me it looks like 18psi may be the sweet spot for the 2860, all the while producing more efficient power than stock of course. The jury is still out on exactly how it will flow in our housing though.

You can push it to whatever the limits of the disco potato are.

Very interesting cause everyone here was talking about how the Ex-manifold design and the Turbo having the Twin scroll setup should help spool quickly the stage 3 turbo. Now, we have to take into account that these will be Journal bearings as well, unlike actual GT2871r that are BB. I don't think it will be anything drastic but we'll see.
