Burning Clutch using "Launch Control"
With the tune turned on and Drag Radials I was leaving at 5000 rpm or more with no clutch slip. Im going out for the first time this year Friday to test out my new tires and tune adjustments. 25 lbs boost instead of 17
I use launch control at the track and it almost does not spin. Doesn't smell like burning clutch neither.
Launch control is a mix of traction control and RPM management...
I never could launch the car at the track correctly without launch control, i just spin infinitely.

Im testing out my new slicks tomorrow. Nitto NT555R DRs 275/40r17 V93 on Drag DR31s 9 inch wide . Tread is 10.9 inchs wide. 25.6 inchs tall. Ive been driving around in the area with them on and they didnt rub anywhere. They are a tight fit and would not work on a lowered car. Ill post up some pics.

See that's the thing, technically it won't. The TCS won't allow more than 30% (ish) wheelspin by comparing front to rear speeds (in 1st) when LC is active. If it detects stupid amounts, it will cut power (within reason) to bring it in check. You can't slip it and you can't just dump it...done right the TCS will do its job but if track prep is complete trash, you'll spin the entire way through 1st.
