Charge Piping Came Loose.....
Charge Piping Came Loose.....
Well after it came loose the first time i told myself i'd figure out a way to secure it better, well today it came loose again so I forced myself to do something about it.

there piping sucks ass, i was at e-town ecotech meet and G.M. had the ss/tc there. first thing us cobalt owners did was look under the hood and what did we see, broke piping in 3 places car didnt even have any real miles on it just loadin and unloading+ Gardelas 3 runs
LOL How much is that and u need a tune .. nawww we just gunna fix it for now... I just checked mine and same thing FTW... nothing some zip tie engineering for .02 cents a zip tie ... if you let it go for too long eventually it starts to sheeth the wires for that sensor..
You dont need a tune - to realize the full potential you do. Anyway, I prefer to fix things right, especially on a brand new car. Whats your car going to look like in 10 years if you keep using zip ties and duct tape to fix it? No offense. (oh, and its at $349 now.)
349 for what ?
yes but some of us broke the bank just getting this car, coming from POS cars b4 this, like my gutless hyundai lol. Just having the car is enough for me right now, charge piping i'd like to get but unless someone wants to buy me a christmas present for switching from hyundai to chevy
lol then i gotta use zip ties for now
can u provide a link for the TSB, I looked at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov no luck there. I like to look into this if possible thanks
mines on 20-21LBS of boost and i dont have this problem at all, tighten the t-blot clamps if you you this problem again, if you keep having this problem i reccommend that you invest in harndened charge pipe with bead rolled lips. note my pipes are stock at the momment but i dont have this problem, and the cars well over broken in, in mileage, guess i just got lucky and got one of the ten that were built right.....lol sorry GM
