Are you talking about where there was the recall? The CP is held onto the car? It like snaps on?

If so, then I just sawed that **** off on my boy's Cobalt. He will never go back to stock CP, so why not.

Theres a few tiny screws and 2 or 3 pop clips which you pry the center loose with 2 little flat head screwdrivers and pull them out

its a big BIG pain in the dick man. I'm telling you it took me longer to get that off then to do ANY part of this install...we and my brother just used a swivel socket with a torx bit on it to get it off. There isn't much clearance to get in there. Or if you plan on never using the stock piping you can always just cut it off...thats what someone else did I believe

shoot man...uhhh. I can't recall of the top of my head what size torx bit it was. I wanna say like 20...but I'm not 100% on that. Then maybe like a 1/4" swivel socket and extention. I would suggest hearing from others before doing anything

Get a 1/4 metric set 10mm and smaller from Sears , Harbour Freight or Home Depot and some small Torx and you should be good to go.

On the dejon website it says 1/4" hose sorry. I didn't have the exact specs on hand. And i can't recall either what size the bit was, but you need an extension and get it in at the right angle.

You can go pick up a set of Torx sockets from Advance, they have Gearwrench brand. Not to expensive, but still have a lifetime warranty.

I need to know how to get the freaking screw off. Everything else is just a regular hex socket set right?

Got the screw off....now what about the socket to get piping off...what size I need

Don't you have a set so you can test fit them to see which size works, or are you just buying the tools as needed? and i wanna say it may be 8 or 10 not sure.
