F35 Trans (LNF) Frozen Shifter Cables
#76
They come together as a pair. Also they are joined together by a fairly large groumet as well as a metal bracket that bolts to the firewall just over top of the down pipe. The cables are deffinitly your issue. My car was fine also in the cold weather until half way through last winter and then they just started to freeze on me every morning. Now after the new cables it is perfect even when its -20 again. The cables are a pain in the ass to get out on your own. I would suggest having someone there with you to help the cables come out. They tend to get stuck on everything on the way out.
Thanks for the advice, this will come in handy when I do this. I'm hoping it'll make it until the spring since I have my project car in the garage right now and it'll be chilly working outside. I'll definitely make sure I have someone around to help me.
