fluttering noise in 5th gear

Has any one experienced a fluttering noise when you are in 5th gear and step on the gas, what is causing this?

You shouldn't be stepping on the gas in 5th gear.

Never hit boost in 5th.... well, at least not in low rpm's.

If you're on the salt flats and going for top end speed, then boost in 5th is fine

5th is you're overdrive cruising gear with minimal throttle. 4th is basically a high way passing gear. I still wouldn't floor it in 4th though at high way cruising speed but it is safer to give it a bit more throttle in 4th when at highway speed.

Never wot in 5th....you can give it a lil juice to pop out and scoot a lil....for a decent normal pass put it in 4th...even then i wouldnt WOT pass...to blow some doors off passing with the rage of the SS turbo gods downshift to 3rd and dont forget to rev match...and WOT to your heart contents...but careful cause you will be doing 100 in no time flat especially if your tune is brutal.
