Fuel Pump Regulator?

Fuel Pump Regulator?

I keep getting a fuel pump regulator CEL. Would this cause boost fluctuate?

Possibly, if there's a severe drop in fuel pressure im sure the ecm would lower the boost. But without seeing logs its just guesses.

weird my friend just had this problem search theyres a thread about it rubbing causing the failure if not its a bad pump. I told him to just take it to the dealer its like a $40 part

Check the wiring at the connector going into your HPFP. The wiring harness that it is attached to pulls on it something serious. I ended up ty-rapping that harness to one of the AC line the hold it.
