help! key stuck in the ignition.
Just got back from Paradise Chevy and Cadillac in Temecula. Got the steering column replaced from the recall and the ignition replaced under warranty. The sweet thing is my ride has 48xxx miles and is out of warranty and they replaced it anyway. WIN!
This happened to my car while it was at the dealership, ha. They called me and said your car would be done but the key is stuck, have you had problems with it? I was like, no, they just fixed it under warranty. Then like a month later the recall came out and they replaced lock cylinder again, ha.
It is a recall actually.
I had issues on my 05 base in that I could pull the key out of the ignition while the engine was running. It was awesome in the winter back in Chicago.
all years 2005-2010 G5 and Cobalt

With all the problems gm is having with ignitions right now they will probably replace it without question if not tell them it was loose and you dont feel safe
What year and miles on the car
There was already a technical service bulletin out for keys stuck in the ignition so they might replace it for that to
It is still happening in the 14 models. I had new malibu do this after totally taking a **** on me, and leaving me stranded on a test drive. Not the call you want to make to your boss
