Holy crap zzp pcm tune
Thanks guys for your replies. I don't spin hard in 3rd but it does break loose a little bit, like I said I have bald worn-out original continentals on there still. A lot of things changed when I added the new tuned pcm in. For example it warms up a lot faster and runs cooler, the fans come on a lot sooner and cools it down. Basically it's a nice tune and pulls a lot harder than I thought it would. I'm gonna check the KR and AFRs and LTFT soon but I dont notice any problems. If I add a downpipe and intake would I still have a problem with the "learndown" feature? I'm assuming I would. But hopefully ZZP will retune the pcm when I do add some bolt-ons.
Im just sending in a different pcm its just a core anyways i think they use used cores so they must rewrite vins i hope. I dont need two pcm's i just wanted to test there tune without sending in my stock pcm

Intercooler/charge pipes are not needed for stock turbo. Only time is upgrade is IF your stocker breaks or if you go bigger turbo. Some people cry you need them for reliability but its rare to bust the stock charge piping and the stock IC is overkill for this car, unless you smash it on something then might aswell go after market since price will be similar to stocker.
Have a question that maybe you or someone else can answer regarding my 2010 colbalt SS turbo. I recently put on a catless DP with a 02 bug for the first day it did not throw my Cel. The second day it did throw my Cel, so I ordered a straight extension Defouler, do you think that will fix the cell fix I had the car diagnostic and the code was P0402 - meaning no cats.

The tune will help you add the power benefits of any mods you do to do car plus make it run alot better. Also depending on the tuner. You don't have to upgrade the injectors or pistons unless your planning to make big power on the car and that's probably doing a turbo swap etc
